Hello Calgary!  Welcome to Just Causes.  A unique Calgary and area events listing featuring any and everything that has to do with promoting global social development.  Whether it's an art auction, gala evening, concert or festival if it's making a difference you'll find it here.

Working in partnership with local organizations and businesses, Just Causes hopes to introduce the public to the amazing people involved in various social development projects here and around the world.  In the past many non-profit, charity and fair trade groups have suffered from a lack of advertising and a reliance on word of mouth promotion.  Along with producing inconsistent results, this is a hugely time consuming job for people trying to focus on conducting their business.  

The goal of Just Causes is to create a central public portal in an effort to increase exposure for both large and small alike.  Visitors to Just Causes will have access to a comprehensive events calendar and current events blog linking them to a host of activities they can feel great about supporting.  

Local and International news sections feature articles related to social issues at home and around the world and our participant directory has also been designed to introduce the public to the many socially focused organizations and businesses existing in and around the Calgary area.   Our focus is to put the spotlight on the social justice scene in Calgary and we hope that you will be a part of it.
